Great….

Good news—I weighed myself today. Now I am not that shy about my weight…I am tall and have never been really fat, just heavy…so I will share with you my weight…because I don’t care that much about numbers. At my heaviest (about a year ago) I weighed in at 170. You couldn’t really tell, because my weight distributes…but that is how much I weighed. Today I weighed myself and I am at 150, so I have lost 20 pounds. For the past year or so I have been between 160 and 155, but never really below 155…but I have finally broke past that plateau and am down to 150. So I am very excited about that…so happy that I ate salmon for lunch…even though I don’t really like salmon…but it looks so yummy! And it was :-)

Bad news—I ran today at lunch. There is a 24 hour fitness in the basement of the building, so I just went at lunch. So I get onto the tread mil, and start to walk. I walk for 5 min, and feeling good, I start to run. I get .2 miles into my run and I am DYING! I can’t breath, my whole torso is cramping I just had to stop. This is very discouraging to me, the run is my weakest part and I had been working so hard to fight that. I had actually gotten to the point where I could actually run most of the 3 miles. Now I can’t even go a mile. I really hope that by Sunday I can pull off some sort of miracle. The goal is to get this congestion out of my chest and just do my best on Sunday.

If you have any tips on the whole running with a cold….please let me know!
