So instead of inserting this pictures into the previous post, I will just create a new post!
Here are some photos from George’s camera….
Here is the Toy Box all packed and ready to go! Have I ever mentioned the love for my car and how great it is for triathlons? Funny thing is that I didn’t know that it would be that useful when I bought it!
The night before I very carefully wrote my name on the back of my jersey, someone said that people would call my name…but that didn’t really happen. Only the people that actually knew me called my name.
George also took a picture of me writing my pre-race blog, you can see where I got my inspiration
So, a lot of the things I read said to make sure you lay everything out the night before, that way…when you wake up at the crack of dawn…you don’t forget anything. It worked for me…here is a picture of most of the things laid out but I think I picked up my clothes off the floor….
After a LOOOOONG night of rest (NOT!) It was race day!
That is George riding in front of me, note two things:
#1 The L.L. Cool J pant leg
#2 The balloon attached to his tri bag
Good Stuff
Here is the transition area, please note Pinky….my pink dolphin…she was very helpful…until she got in my face during T2!
I took a picture of my temporary tattoo…note that everything is in focus BUT the tattoo…the beauty of a self picture…also that thing was hard to get off!
Posing near my transition area…fancy!
Me on the bike, can you see the pain????
That’s all I got for now, still waiting on the professional pictures (which I am sure there will be many) and then I will post those.
Hope everyone had a great Tuesday!

Hello — I am a TNT Marathon Coach and just starting to get into cycling and triathlons. I was looking to see what the Virtual Chapter is up to with planned triathlons and your fundraising page came up in the search results.
There was a link to your training journal (here) and I wanted to tell you the picture of you holding your bike is possibly the coolest picture I’ve seen on a fundraising page.
My girlfriend (now wife) ran a marathon with me last year, but I know there is no way I will talk her into doing triathlons. I think it’s great that you and George were able to accomplish these goals together.
Go Team!!

Go Team!
I don’t think I could ever do a marathon, so more power to ya! (Not much of a runner, just enough to get by)
I hope you enjoy cycling, I love it and it is what I originally had gotten into before triathlons.
You should try a tri
