So, everything went very well in regards to the swim last night. I swam the 1/2 mile in my wetsuit in the pool and it felt good. If you are new to triathlons and you haven’t done this, you should! I was able to focus on my pace as well as my breathing and where my power had to go. It is totally different than swimming with just a bathing suit. I know this, because when I took off the wetsuit to do some more laps, it was like I had never swam before. So, there is a HUGE difference. I hope this helps with my swim and I plan to do it again.
After swimming, George and I headed to the yoga class. I have never been much of a fan of yoga, mostly because I have no patience for it….which probably just means I should do it more. But what always ends up happening is that I start laughing…because I have ADD and I can’t focus…so when people do the “lion’s face”

I just can’t handle it….I really have no maturity at all….
Some other good ones that made me laugh were the “happy baby”

And this one…I just couldn’t do….

So back to this happy baby pose…So when the zen yoga instructor told everyone to do it, I silently protested and did not do it. What ended up happening is that I was sitting up and I got to see about 20 people rolling around on their back doing this pose, which therefore caused more laughter from me…I just couldn’t help myself.
Needless to say, we left early because I was getting annoyed and I knew George was over it too. So we headed out then went to Dino’s for some YUMMY pizza!
Moving on! I failed this morning. I wanted to go do a 3 mile run with the Pasadena Tri Club but I just smacked the clock and went back to sleep. I am just not a morning workout person…never have been. So anyway, now I have to make up for today because I probably won’t get a chance to workout. Ho-Humm…

My mom used to do a lot of yoga when I was growing up and some of the poses are quite ridiculous. My sister and I had a great time mimicing them and laughing until our stomachs hurt! The Lion’s face is my favorite! My mom actually posed like the sphinx and spread her hands wide when she did it. Hilarious!

I’m not a morning person either…
The happy bday is kinda suggestive…
P.s. I like the spreadsheet workout from the last post. I’m a spreadsheet guy.
