After a month of no high heels and no running my foot is all better!
It is sort of hard to see, but in the bones closest to the ankle, all the spaces are where they should be. In my last x-ray, they where not even and everything was out of whack. Dr.Rupp said I could start running, but for the first 10 days I should only do about 15 minutes and on flat terrain while wearing an ankle brace just to help stabilize my foot. Then after all that I can start increasing my distance and eventually take the brace off. I am not sure if I will be able to fully train for a half marathon…so I may put that on the back burner, but I will start training for all my tri’s coming up in the fall and I think I will sign up for the Strawberry Fields Sprint, because I can!
Hope everyone is having a good week, tonight George and I are going to a fund raising event for the Disney Tri Team. It is a wine tasting event and 2/3rds of what I am paying to get in will go to George’s fund raising goal!

I’m glad your foot is doing better. I hope you don’t go stir crazy running 15 min at a time.
